StepRouter (Data Sheet)
Is a coordinate-to-coordinate grid-less auto-router directly runs on as-is layout window. It creates an
auto-connection along the user-guided routing-coordinates in compliance with the routing rules and
constrains. The connection can be optimized by layer-direction, resistance, capacitance or RC. Based
on what is created, the router can be Path Router, Bus Router, Matched Path Router and Matched Bus
Router. (US patent pending)
FreeJumper
Is a side-product of step-router which enables the user to jump routing layers between any two metals.
FreeJumper automatically places a proper via (uniVia) on metal jumping. Layer jumping can be done
by one click or a bindkey. With the “Rule Assistant”, FreeJumper will automatically push the drawing
vias and paths to avoid the spacing errors between existing polygons. Based on what is created, the
FreeJumper can be a PathJumper, BusJumper or Shield BusJumper.
UniVia
Offers a one for all solution in creating Vias/Contacts by cols & rows, filling an area or drawing MPP
between any two conductive layers (including base layers). Design rules such as minimum area on the
stack via, array-based via spacing rule, width-depend metal enclosure of via etc advanced rules will be
correctly handled by UniVia.
Slot Path
Is a handy tool in creating slot paths (any angle) or converting normal paths to slot paths. All slot
shapes/holes are on grid. A Slot Path can be created as a pcell with stretch handlers.
QuickLabel:
Provides extensive efficient ways to create physical pins/lvs labels/ text labels. It enables you to get
label names from source (schematic) pin names, input multiple (bus) names in one time or get label
name from VXL net information. Multiple labels can be created in one click or by drawing a line over
metal shapes. The tool will automatically set the label layer based on which metal layer the label is
attached to.
UniFill:
Is a general process independent tool to fill any kind of user-defined pattern within the specified region.
Multiple fills (or matched fills for matched blocks) can be done in one run. The program will auto iterate
to meet the specified coverage range. It also offers an friendly interface to define keepouts.
